Explosives for hardening and cladding metals
SEMTEX® S 30
Loose explosive SEMTEX® 30 is used in above ground applications, primarily for explosion cladding and welding of metals, in non-hazardous environment - that without risk of explosion of gases, vapours and dusts. The loose explosive is allowed to be used solely in dry environment, at temperature levels not coming out of the range -30 to +30 °C.
Shelf Life: 1 Year.
SEMTEX® 10-SE - thermoplastic sheet explosive
Plastic explosive for special use SEMTEX® 10-SE is used for special above ground blasting stints (hardening of metal materials), in non-hazardous environment - that without risk of explosion of gases, vapours and dusts. Application of the explosive is allowed at temperatures not exceeding the operating range of -10 to +50 °C. Should the explosive be used for underwater application, then the overpressure exerted by the water column is not allowed to exceed that of 1 MPa during ten hours of exposure. The explosive is allowed to be subdivided or shaped if supported on a wooden board, while non-sparking tools are to be utilised.
Shelf Life: 2 Years.
