When established, Explosia a.s. employed 580 persons, out of which 158 were technicians and 422 were workers.
At present time the company staff is 441 employees - 147 technicians and 295 workers.
The employees of Explosia a.s. can make use of a number of benefits granted by the company on the basis of Collective Agreement with Trade Union organisation. The benefits are e.g. one extra week of holiday outside the Labour Code scope, regular preventive medical care, refund of flu vaccination costs and provision of working protective means. Further benefits are family benefits for children holiday, boarding contribution, company's contribution to extended pension or life insurance, rewards on life and work anniversaries and contribution to language courses. This year the company has extended employee benefits by the contribution to one-week recondition and rehabilitation stay in Priessnitz therapeutical spa Jeseník.

Scope of the Project
Project EDUCA is aimed at the support of specific education, i.e. teaching of knowledge and skills difficult to transfer or completely non-transferable between various companies or lines. As it is a matter of unique know-how impossible to be obtained from external lecturers, an important part of the project activities is prepared and realized by in-house lectors.
Objective of the Project:
Objective of the project realized within the framework of the Call No.39 EDUCA, is the support of structural changes being under progress at present time in Explosia a.s. The changes are aimed at significant intensification of effectiveness and competitiveness of the company and at its expansion. The project will support these changes through increasing and intensifying professional qualification of employees and development of their occupational competences, necessary for better performance of work in new conditions and for maintaining the jobs.
The Course and Outputs of the Project:
Duration of the project is planned for 16 months, it consists of 9 key activities (KA) of educational character (out of which only 2 are of general character) and 3 KAs of organizational character, all company employees will take part in the project (within the framework of KA 06), some of them repeatedly. Altogether 9 new or innovated educational products will be created in the course of the project. Planned total number of lessons participants: 575 persons.
Description of the Project:
The activities are aimed at the areas, where disproportions against real needs have been found during personal audit. These are especially the competences connected with effective preparation and realization of orders in individual fields of production, headed to achieve shortening of supplies realization time, increase in added value and costs optimization.

With regard to the nature of production, products and users, exceptional accent is put in the project on the field of qualification and reliability of the workers and occupational safety at production, storage, handling, transport and utilization of products of the company.
